Questions

What happens to transparent areas?

They are filled with white, which is how a reader or printer shows them anyway. If you need transparency kept, keep the PNG as well.

Is a PNG screenshot still readable in the PDF?

Yes. PNG pixels are embedded without re-compression, so text in a screenshot stays exactly as sharp as the original.

Can I mix PNGs and photos?

Yes — this page and the JPG to PDF page are the same tool, and both accept JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP together.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in this page, on your device.
