Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes: the link or text is written into the pattern itself, with no redirect in between. Many free generators make “dynamic” codes that stop working when a trial ends — these never do.
Are scans tracked?
No. A static code sends the phone straight to your content, so nothing is counted. The one exception is a World Wall mark code, which adds ?ref=qr to the link so the wall can count mark scans (no personal data).
How does a WiFi QR code work?
It uses the standard WIFI: format that iPhone and Android cameras understand. Scanning it offers to join the network without typing the password. The password stays in this page — it is not uploaded.
PNG or SVG?
PNG for screens, messages and documents. SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster.
Why won't my coloured code scan?
Scanners need strong contrast between the dots and the background, with dark dots on a light background. The page checks the contrast and warns you below 4.5:1.
